Student opportunities

Work Integrated Learning

Our programs in Arts, Communication and Journalism give students the ability to gain practical experience in the workplace whilst studying through Work Integrated Learning.

Griffith University requires that 70% of all Griffith programs include an identifiable work-integrated learning component by 2010. The School of Humanities continues to build its Work Integrated Learning component through a wide range of work experience opportunities.

Humanities Industry Placements

This program is designed to facilitate industry placements for Humanities students studying a Bachelor of Arts Degree.

The Bachelor of Arts Degree incorporates the signature experience in Social Enterprise which fosters work-readiness in graduates while emphasising the ethical frameworks underpinning their fields of study.

Careers and Employment Service

The Careers and Employment Service provides services to help students and graduates make informed career choices, begin job search and access resources and events that will lead to work.
