Research
Southeast Queensland has a number of unique ecosystems, ranging from moist subtropical rainforest to heathland to dry open grassy woodlands. Over 2 million people live in the region, impacting on native vegetation and ecosystems.
We are ideally placed to undertake fire-ecology research initiatives and community education. Collaboration with a number of research partners provides us with the opportunity to explore a broad range of topics. See below for our current projects and click on the links to learn more about each project, along with student and volunteer opportunities.
